He pulls elements from his life experiences, spiritual outlook, Caribbean heritage and the city landscape to create songs addressing real issues while keeping the entertaining aspect that Hip-Hop was founded on. The recognition of these well fused elements in his music gave him a unique opportunity to present the culture and history of Hip-Hop to a class of Doctoral candidates at Yale University. They were studying the subject of modern music and spirituality.
